As of this meeting all of our meetings will be on our website at JacksonvilleHistoricaldistrict.webs.com and through E-Mail

 

Still collecting history item donations for our Historical Center, if you know of anyone who has history items of Jacksonville and they would like to donate, please give them Barbara Mashburn's phone number 501-765-0767, or they may drop them off at 104 S. First on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between 9 am and 2 pm.

 

Currently advertising for new members on Facebook,(Thanks to Tim Ducheseau 2nd chair) become a member now and you get the next 2 months of this year free.

 

Tim and Sean Ducheseau are collecting item donations and we are reimbursing him for his gas, he is turning in his milage and receipts.

 (YES- IIIII I     NO- 0  )

construction ran into issues with the small broom closet in the back room the wall fell so this was torn down(wood was rotten), but do not think we need to rebuild this room. need your input.  (Dont rebuild- IIIII I )

We have a double sink that was donated to our center, we will need to get the cabinet, need your input as to yes we put it in the backroom or no we don't. I think we need a kitchen area for cleanup and to get water for coffee instead of going to the bathrooms for water. My vote will be yes.

The votes were to purchase a base and top for the sink for our meeting room and they were purchased on November 5, 2020 installed the week of 9-13. special Thanks to our member Ollie Mashburn for installing the sink.

I agree that we need to reimburse Tim for his gas in collecting these items for our Center. and I also think we need a small kitchen area in the backroom along the wall, since we already have a double sink donated to use, I vote YES. I will be at the Center on Wed, Thurs, Fri from 9 am til 2 pm unless Im called ahead of time I have no problem meeting anyone down there.
